Pilot families
Privacy & pilot terms
Your athlete is a kid first. Here's exactly how we protect them, in plain language.
Private by default
- Athlete profiles are never public and never show up in search engines.
- Only the parent account that created a profile can see or change it.
- There is no public athlete directory. Coaches cannot browse or search for your child.
Parents decide what coaches see
- A coach only sees your athlete's page through a private link you create and send.
- You choose which sections show (photo, stats, grades, film). Videos appear only after a parent approves them.
- You can turn off any link at any time, and it stops working right away.
- You'll see when a coach opens a link, so nothing happens without you knowing.
Clubs are partners — on your terms
- A club can only connect to your family if you accept their invite code.
- Club directors see only the fields you switch on, and you can switch them off later.
- Public club pages show club totals and story only — never player names, contacts, grades or film.
What we collect
- What you type in: athlete name, grad year, position, school list, contact notes, and anything you choose to add.
- Photos and videos you upload. Videos are stored privately; coaches get short-lived viewing links only.
- Your sign-in email and, if you connect one, your club calendar link (kept private, never shown to anyone).
What we never do
- We never sell your information or show it to advertisers.
- We never message coaches for you. You send every email yourself.
- We never share anything about your athlete without a parent's say-so.
Pilot terms
- This is an early test version of My Varsity. Some things may break or change, and the name itself may change.
- Recruiting dates and showcase info come from NCAA rules and event organizers. Always confirm on the official site before paying or registering.
- A parent or guardian must create the account and supervise any athlete under 18.
- Want your family's data deleted? Tell the parent who invited you to the pilot and it will be fully removed.
